DONCASTER 2 WYCOMBE 2
(Saturday 29th October 2016)
Matt Bloomfield scored twice as Wanderers dug out a 2-2 draw in their first ever visit to Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium. Bloomfield improvised an overhead kick to put Wycombe into the lead on 19 minutes but the home side responded with two goals to lead at the break. However, Wycombe pressed in the second-half and were rewarded on 78 minutes when Bloomfield took advantage of a fumble from home 'keeper Ross Etheridge to tap home. Wanderers remain in 21st spot in the table but are now just a point clear of the relegation zone currently occupied by Leyton Orient and Newport County.

Wanderers slumped to a nightmare 2-0 home defeat to Barnet as substitute Myles Weston was sent off for a second bookable offence just seven minutes after his first yellow card. With the game goalless at the break, the visitors broke the deadlock on 64 minutes when Mauro Vilhete converted from the 6 yards following a break down the left wing. Weston saw red on the stroke of full-time before former Wanderer John Akinde sealed the points in stoppage time. The defeat sees Wanderers drop to 21st in the table, just 2 points above the drop zone.
