STEWART SIGNS NEW DEAL
(Monday 31st July 2017)
The Club revealed that Anthony Stewart had signed a three year extension to his contract at the Fans Forum held on Monday 31st July 2017 at Adams Park. Stewart had already triggered a one year extension to his current deal during the 2016/17 season but has now agreed a deal running until June 2020. Now 24 years old, the former Wanderers Youth Teamer is in his second spell with the Club having originally made his first team debut in January 2012. Returning to Wycombe in June 2015, following a season sabbatical with Crewe Alexandra, he has now clocked up over 100 appearances for Wanderers.
WILLIAMS LOANED FROM QPR
(Monday 31st July 2017)
The Club announced on 31st July 2017 a five month loan deal for 19 year old Queens Park Rangers left-back Jack Williams. He joins Wanderers having appeared in the pre-season friendlies with Wimbledon and Maidenhead United. He comes to Adams Park having yet to break into The R's First Team but having made 19 appearances for their U23's side during the 2016/17 season, plus a short 'work experience' spell with Bishops Stortford in the National League South. The loan deal runs until 1st January 2018. He was allocated No.24 in the Wanderers squad.

(Friday 28th July 2017)
Wanderers went down 1-0 at National League newcomers Maidenhead United on Friday evening - the only goal of the game being credited as an own-goal to Adebayo Akinfenwa on 79 minutes. Next game for Wycombe is the opening game of the 2017/18 Football League season when they take on newly promoted Lincoln City at Adams Park.

DE HAV. ON LOAN TO SHOTS
(Thursday 27th July 2017)
The Club confirmed on Thursday (27th July) that central defender Will De Havilland had moved to National League side Aldershot Town on a one-month loan deal. The now 22 year old joined Wanderers in the summer of 2016 from Sheffield Wednesday. He made 16 League appearances for Wycombe last season, with a further 7 appearances in cup competitions. The loan runs up to and including 28th August 2017. De Havilland played against the Shots in the pre-season friendly on 22nd July 2017. He is likely to make his Shots debut when they take on Wimbledon on Friday (28th July) - having played for Wanderers in the friendly against The Dons on Tuesday (25th July).

Goals from Luke O'Nien (22) and Adebayo Akinfenwa (33), saw Wanderers beat Wimbledon in the onlypre-season friendly scheduled at Adams Park. The meeting, also billed as 'The Cherry Red Cup', saw QPR youngster Jack Williams appear on trial for the Wanderers.

TYSON SIGNS ONE YEAR DEAL
(Tuesday 25th July 2017)
The Club confirmed prior to the home pre-season with Wimbledon that former Wanderers' striker Nathan Tyson had signed a one year deal to bring him back to Adams Park after more than an eleven year absence. Now 35 years old, he joins on a free following his release from Kilmarnock.

Wanderers drew 2-2 at Aldershot in their second pre-season friendly before the start of the 2017/18 campaign. Wycombe, missing Anthony Stewart and Scott Kashkett through injury, fell behind in the 10th minute to a Jake Gallagher goal but took a 2-1 advantage following a Dayle Southwell penalty on 53 minutes and a Nick Freeman effort 14 minutes later. The home side equalised through a Jack Cook header on 76 minutes.

BEAN AGREES NEW DEAL
(Friday 21st July 2017)
The Club confirmed on Friday 21st July that Marcus Bean had agreed a one year extension to his contract with the Wanderers- now running until June 2018. Now 33 years old, Bean has made 79 First Team appearances for The Wanderers since joining from Colchester United on a free transfer in January 2015.
PIERRE SIGNS FOR COBBLERS
(Friday 21st July 2017)
Out of contract Wanderer Aaron Pierre has opted to join League One Northampton Town after failing to secure a deal with Championship side Bristol City, where he had been on trial for a short time. The 24 year old signed a three year deal with a Cobblers side managed by Justin Edinburgh.

Wanderers won 2-1 against a Queens Park Rangers U23 side in a 'behind closed doors' friendly at The R's training ground at Harlington. Dayle Southwell (penalty) and Paris Cowan-Hall scored Wycombe's goals. The pre-season campaign continues with a match at Aldershot on Saturday 22nd July.

Wanderers opened their pre-season programme with a match with old non-League rivals Slough Town. The match, played as the official opening of The Rebels new Arbour Park ground, ended 0-0. Wanderers' line-up included four triallists - including Nathan Tyson, with the other unnamed but believed to be Henry Newcombe (goalkeeper), Andrew Fox (left back) and Owain Jones (right winger). The pre-season games continue for Wycombe on Saturday 15th July with a 'behind closed doors' friendly with a Queens Park Rangers U23 side. The match is due to be played at The R's training ground at Harlington with a 1.30pm kick-off.

PIERRE TRIAL AT BRISTOL CITY

Aaron Pierre has been reported to be on trial with Bristol City. The out of contract 24 year old has turned down a new deal with Wanderers in favour of looking for club higher up the Football League ladder. Wanderers would receive no cash from any transfer because the player is over the age of 23.
TYSON RETURNS ON TRIAL
(Monday 3rd July 2017)
Surprise news announced by the Club on Monday (3rd July 2017) with the return of former Wanderers' striker Nathan Tyson on trial. Now 35 years old, Tyson originally joined Wycombe during the 2003/4 season from Reading - going on to score 44 goals in all competitions from 87 appearances before a £675,000 move to Nottingham Forest in January 2006. He followed his time with Forest, with spells with Derby County, Blackpool, Doncaster Rovers and most recently a season with Kilmarnock - he was released from the latter at the end of the 2016/17 campaign having failed to find the net in 17 Scottish Premier League games. The Club announced the first signing of the close season on 3rd July 2017 with the news that 32 year old central defender Adam El-Abd had signed a two year deal following a free transfer from Shrewsbury Town. The former Egyptian international is best known for a 10 year spell at his home town club, Brighton & Hove Albion. He spent last season as Captain of Shrewsbury Town in League One.
