NEWPORT 0 WYCOMBE 1
(Tuesday 22nd November 2016)
An 87th minute pin point free-kick from Sido Jombati saw Wanderers grab a 1-0 victory at boggy Newport County and climb to 8th spot in the table, less than a month after they sat 21st in League Two. The winning goal was a near carbon copy of Jombati's previous free-kicks against Grimsby (August 2016) and Portsmouth (April 2016) - the ball being curled into the top left corner of the opponent's net and giving the 'keeper little chance on all three occasions. This was the first time Wanderers had won three succesive League games for 11 months.

SCOTT BROWN LOANED OUT
(Monday 21st November 2016)
The Club confirmed on Monday that goalkeeper Scott Brown had joined Conference National side Eastleigh on a 28 day loan. 31 year old Brown joined Wanderers in the close season but after suffering an injury in the opening League game of the season was ruled out and prompted Manager Gareth Ainsworth to bring in Chelsea 'keeper Jamal Blackman on loan. Brown returned for the first time from injury in the recent Football League Trophy game with Coventry City but Ainsworth has said that Blackman has earned the right to keep his place in goal. The Wycombe boss added: "Scott needs games to get himself back to full match sharpness and this loan period will give him that opportunity, at a really competitive level in the National League and working under a very good manager in Ronnie Moore."
CAMBRIDGE 1 WYCOMBE 2
(Saturday 19th November 2016)
A stoppage time strike from Aaron Pierre at Cambridge United saw Wanderers grab their first away win in the League since the 2-1 victory at Dagenham on 9th February 2016 (18 games). A 6th minute penalty, converted by Paul Hayes, had given Wanderers the lead after Pierre had been tripped. However, it looked like that elusive away victory would be put on hold again when Maris thumped home from close range on 87 minutes to level the scores at 1-1. But it was Pierre who managed to thump the ball home, high into the left corner of the net, after the home side failed to deal with a Joe Jacobson corner from the left.

In another special feature for chairboys.co.uk, Paul Lewis recalls Wanderers' incident filled FA Cup 1st Round meeting at Southern League Waterlooville in November 1976 - the tie coming just two days after the then unsigned punk band The Clash played at Wanderers' former HQ, The Nag's Head.

WYCOMBE 2 MORECAMBE 0
(Saturday 12th November 2016)
Wanderers secured a third home League victory from four games as they beat off the challenge of Morecambe at a drizzly Adams Park. A close range header from Aaron Pierre that was crucially deflected off the head of Alex Whitmore and into the back of the Valley End net, gave Wanderers the lead two minutes into the second-half. Wycombe survived a Morecambe response before Luke O'Nein doubled the lead in the 81st minute to seal the three points and move Wycombe up to 16th in the table.

Wanderers will travel to 'League One' Chesterfield in the Second Round Proper of the FA Cup following the draw made on Monday evening. Winners in the Second Round tie, that will played on the weekend of Saturday 3rd December, will receive £27,000 in sponsorship money.
