Woodlands Stand from players tunnelThe proposals to build a 'Community Stadium and Sports Village' at Wycombe Air Park for the use of Wycombe Wanderers and London Wasps caused widespread debate in the High Wycombe area.
As always, Chairboys on the Net followed these events with interest and in an attempt to provide an overview of how the story unfolded, this page was created with the aim to collate links to all the relevant stories published relating to the Community Stadium since the Wycombe District Council decision to progress with the proposals on 17 January 2011. Further links were added until the point the project was knocked into touch on 18 July 2011. Now we wait for the next episode on this saga and the knock on effects for the future of Wycombe Wanderers FC.
