Scott Bevan BEVAN COMING BACK?
(Monday 1st March 2004)
Reports in the national press on Monday suggested that Tony Adams was trying to bring back Scott Bevan on a short term deal to cover for Wanderers' goalkeeper injury crisis. The Southampton 'keeper spent a month on loan at Wycombe earlier this year but returned due to alledged financial considerations. However, any deal this time around would have to be permanent because Wanderers have already reached their maximum quota of eight loan players and would only be allowed another goalkeeper if ALL their professional 'keepers could be proved to be unfit. The report has since been confirmed by the Club but a deal could not be agreed before Tuesday's game at Bristol.
