Background: Played for Burnaby Canadians while he was at University in Vancouver before becoming Lawrie Sanchez's first permanent signing for Wycombe in February 1999. Originally travelled over from his native Canada at the start of the 1998/99 season to have a trial at Wycombe but problems with his work permit meant an early return. Paid his own air fare back to the UK having gained his permit and his persistence at Wycombe was rewarded with a contract and later a Canadian Cap.

What we think: You just have to admire Rogers' efforts to force his way into the English game. Made a shaky start to his Wycombe career but by the end of the season had defied his critics with a series of fantastic displays in the centre of defence. Scored his first goals for Wycombe during the 2000/2001 season before being forced into a right back role. Ended up missing the second-half of the season due to an ankle injury picked up against Wimbledon in the FA Cup 5th Round tie at Adams Park.
Returned at the start of 2001/2002 season and had a solid season that was rewarded with a contract extension until May 2005 and further Canadian honours.
