Background: Started his football in England as an 18 year old with Wigan Athletic but failed to make the First Team and was loaned out to Northampton Town (without making an appearance) and then Carlisle United, eventually making his senior debut in a Conference game at Forest Green Rovers 21st August 2004. A regular that season for United and an integral part of their squad that won promotion back to the Football League - culminating in a Play-Off Final victory at Stoke City's ground against Stevenage Borough.
However, passport problems prevent Vieira from staying in the UK for chance to play in the Football League with Carlisle and he returned to his native Brasil for a year before coming back to play for Barnet in 'League Two' - making his Football League debut against Torquay United at Underhill on 5th August 2006. On the final game of the 2006/7 season he scored against Wycombe in The Bees 2-1 victory at Underhill.
A summer move to Crawley Town saw him back into Conference football but he was eventually loaned to fellow Conference side Cambridge United where this time he was on the losing side in a Play-Off Final - going down 1-0 to Exeter City in the Final at Wembley before a gate of 42,511.
The 23 year old was signed on a one year deal by Wycombe on 30th June 2008, with Manager Peter Taylor commenting, "He comes to us as a winger and a striker really, he's an all out attacking player. Even though he has played at a different level, I think he's used to scoring goals and he's hungry. He wants to do well and because of that I believe he will do well." Meanwhile, Vieira told the Club's official website, "I was supposed to sign for another club but when I found out Wycombe were interested it was an easy decision for me to make. I spoke to the manager and the ideas he's got, plus the way he sees me as a player, were really important to me."
A fringe player for the Wanderers during 2008/9, the highlight coming when he scored twice against Macclesfield in December 2008 during one of only two League starts. Released by Peter Taylor at the end of the 2008/9 campaign.
