Background: Joined the Wanderers Centre of Excellence at the age of 14 having represented Buckinghamshire at County level. A tough tackling left sided defender who made an impression on Wanderers Manager Tony Adams during his early days at the Club. Consequently given his First Team debut in December 2003 and awarded a one year professional contract shortly afterwards. Was called into the Scotland U21 side around this time, as well as shining in a live TV game at Sheffield Wednesday. However, a change of opinion from Adams saw the player out of First Team plans and this eventually led to Reilly quitting the Club to return to studies before later continuing his playing with non-League Chesham United. |
