Summary: Essandoh apparently came to Wycombe after his agent saw Wycombe's desperate search for a striker on teletext ahead of the FA Cup Quarter-Final tie with Leicester City on Saturday 10th March. After playing one reserve game for The Wanderers the 6' striker went straight into the starting line-up for the game with Port Vale the following Saturday but then stole all the headlines when he popped up as substitute to score the dramatic stoppage time winner at Filbert Street.
He's played most of his recent football in Finland although in the early part of his career he played for Motherwell where he turned out against both Celtic and Rangers and also played in the UEFA cup. he also made two further UEFA cup appearances while in Finland and before stepping straight into the Wycombe First Team he had brief trials with Wigan, Bournemouth, Rushden and Luton Town.
