Background: You could say there's a split opinion Mickey Bell with Wycombe fans. After being signed by Martin O'Neill from The Cobblers, 'Belly' developed into the classic overlapping left-back, culminating in an ever-present 1996/97 campaign. Wycombe fans paid their respects by voting him Player of the Season but a month later he had controversially joined Bristol City. The move left a bitter taste in the mouth for fans and Club officials alike. With Bristol City in the same division as Wycombe the move could hardly be described as ambitious and to make matters worse City got away with a paltry £150,000 fee after the decision went to a tribunal. So that's why some Wycombe fans brand him 'Judus' while still putting him in their all-time Wycombe Dream Team.
