2019/2020 Wycombe Wanderers - - - -
Background:
Former Youth Team goalkeeper with West Bromwich Albion who signed on loan for Wanderers in February 2016 as a result of Matt Ingram's departure to QPR in January 2016 and the subsequent injury to second choice Alex Lynch. Failed to make the First Team with West Brom and eventally spent time with Millwall and Leyton Orient - making his Football League debut for the latter at the start of the 2012/13 season. Signed for Bournemouth in January 2013 but was eventually edged out of First Team contention and was loaned out to Coventry City during the first half of the 2014/15 campaign - making 27 First Team appearances for the Sky Blues before returning to The Cherries. Made a Premier League appearance in November 2015 - coming on as a half-time substitute in a 3-3 draw against Everton.

Totalled 18 appearance for Wanderers during his loan spell at the end of the 2015/16 season - keeping 6 clean-sheets. Returned to Bournemouth at the end of the regular season but two weeks later found himself on an emergency loan to Portsmouth for Pompey's 'League Two' Play-Off Semi-Finals with Plymouth Argyle. Made just one senior appearance during 2016/17 - a final day start in Bournemouth's 1-1 Premier League draw at Leicester City. In contrast, spent the vast majority of the 2017/18 campaing gaining First Team experience, with loan spells at Blackpool and Lincoln City.

It was announced on 19 June 2018 that the now 26 year old had signed a three year permanent deal with Wanderers following his release from Bournemouth at the end of the 2017/18 season. Commenting on the signing, Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "Ryan was our Number 1 priority when we started making plans for next season so I’m delighted to be able to bring him back to the Club, but on a permanent deal this time. We know what he’s all about and I was really impressed with him during his time on loan here, so I’ve kept a close eye on his progress ever since. He’s a fantastic shot stopper but he’s also great in the air and his distribution is first class, which he proved when he played against us for Lincoln a couple of months ago."
