CUP SNIPPETS - Sunday 8th April 2001

  • Fans departing on the first special train - picture Paul LewisClose to 20,000 Wycombe fans set off for Villa Park on Sunday morning. The first special train left High Wycombe at just after 10am and more than 100 coaches will head up the M40 towards Villa Park. It will be biggest Wycombe following outside of a Wembley final.
  • The entire Wycombe squad and staff will be armed with disposable camera's for the tie at Villa Park to help capture the magic of the day.
  • Wycombe's appearance on ITV on Sunday afternoon is the first time they have been featured on live terrestrial TV.
  • Reaction, reports and pictures from the day at Villa Park will be on Chairboys on the Net on Monday morning with updates throughout the day. We'll have a camera outside the ground, so log back onto the site on Monday to see if you recognise anybody.
