Wanderers have won the AXA sponsored Giantkillers Award for
2000/2001. The squad picked up the trophy during Friday's press gathering
at The Wanderers training ground in Booker. According to AXA it was a

it for Wycombe.
- Local rags the Bucks
Free Press and The Bucks Herald both issued special supplements
this week commemorating the Semi-Final at Villa Park.
The BFP issued a 16 page effort while Aylesbury based paper The Herald
published a 4 page broadsheet affair.
- Wycombe fans from all
around the world are preparing the watch the game at Villa Park on Sunday.
Hong Kong Fan Club member Julian Harley told Chairboys on the
Net "We're getting all the Hong Kong Wycombe Fan club together and
getting a posse of footie guys out to the Beer Castle (the darkest, most
rubbish bar in Wanchai) to watch the
Wycombe game." The Club was formed four years ago by Julian's
brother Kavan while he was working in Hong Kong.
