SANCHEZ UP FOR CUP
Sanch and Gibbo with the cup from Wycombe programme coverLawrie Sanchez is taking the FA Cup very seriously as the Club look for an extended run to boost funds.

Writing in Wycombe's matchday programme Sanchez said "The FA Cup holds tremendous memories for myself and Terry Gibson and along with the team, will be doing our utmost to have a long run in the competition this season."

Last season the infamous trio of games against Oxford City caught the national headlines when a fire alert halted a replay at Adams Park just as the penalty shoot out was about to take place. Wycombe eventually scraped through thanks to a Steve Brown goal in a second replay at The Manor Ground.

Sanchez added in his programme notes "The Fourth Round has yet to be reached by the Club and I fully intend to reach that goal during my tenure here. So rest assured we will not be taking this game against Harrow Borough, or any other opposition lightly. Hopefully we shall dispose of Borough a bit quicker than we did Oxford City last season."
