Three men in the media spotlight gave their views at a Supporters Forum held in the Vere Suite at Adams Park on Thursday 12th October. Club Director and SKY Sports commentator Alan Parry was joined by fellow commentator and friend Jim Rosenthal, who is now working for OnDigital as well as ITV. Making up the trio was Bucks Free Press Editor Steve Cohen. The event was organised by the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association.
Over the course of the evening several topics were discussed including local paper coverage of Wycombe Wanderers in the Bucks Free Press, The Internet, Pay Per View and the new joint TV deal between ITV and OnDigital.

BUCKS FREE PRESS
The subject of the local paper was commented on by Alan Parry, he said "The Bucks Free Press is our lifeline. It's the major source of news for fans" Supporters at the Forum raised concerns that the Club were not always "adult" in their relationship with the paper. BFP Editor Steve Cohen commented "Any healthy relationship between a paper and a football club will have friction because we will write things that they don't want you to read. We can never be the mouthpiece for the Club" He added "We will never be really excepted into the fold but I think the relationship at the moment is OK but it's not perfect. We will always do anything we possibly can to bring you the latest news and any controversy"

THE INTERNET
Steve Cohen, who revealed he was a "fan of the internet" wasn't too concerned with the increasing forms of media covering the Club. "I hope we are compelling enough for you to want to read us."  However, Cohen wasn't dismissive of online news, adding that it was "just another medium for us to explore and our job is to be information providers and we do have quite a vibrant website" Cohen expected that over the years some of the readership may transfer to the website where Cohen boasted "We have got the infrastructure. We like to think we have got the skills, talent and contacts. Anybody can set-up a website with Wycombe Wanderers news but we like to think we can do it better than anybody else, even the Club".
